Macron to Announce Paris as IGF Host

According to reports in the French media today French president Emmanuel Macron will be announcing France as the host of the 2018 Internet Governance Forum.

In a report in today’s Le Figaro the newspaper says that the announcement should be made later today:

The event is slated to be held in Paris in November, though no exact details on the location or dates have been announced yet.

Once the details are finalised they’ll probably be announced on the IGF’s official site.
