RIPE 85 Registration Now Open

July 19, 2022 by Michele Neylon

The next RIPE meeting is being held in Belgrade, Serbia.

As they’ve been doing for the last couple of meetings RIPE is offering two options:

  • Onsite in person attendance
  • virtual online attendance

It’s 100% free to attend the meeting online, while attending in person for the full week costs €350. Based on past experience with RIPE meetings that’s €350 well spent, as they always provide proper coffee and quite lavish lunches.

The event will be held from 24th to 28th October. The call for presentations is currently open. There’s usually a mixture of plenary sessions as well as ones from the various RIPE working groups.

RIPE meetings are usually attended by a broad cross-section of the European network operators, so you’d expect to meet people from ISPs from across Europe, as well as companies in the network space, including hosting providers, CDNs and IP address brokers.

Full details, including registration, are available via the event’s official site.
