Centralnic Rebrands

Centralnic is to rebrand.

The company plans to switch its name to “Team Internet Group” this week. The name change will also impact how its shares are seen on the stock market with them being listed now under “TIG”. (As I’m Irish I’m kind of amused that the new ticker means “house” in the Irish language)

Team Internet, which includes Parking Crew, is a German company that Centralnic acquired a couple of years back.

The Centralnic Group website is now redirecting to the new look Team Internet one.

The rebrand shouldn’t have any impact on the direct brands that people deal with. As the full rebrand is a company name change it’ll require signoff by the company’s shareholders to complete, so for now they’re “trading as”.

As name change and rebrands go it’s not too bad. At least “team internet” is an existing company name and it’s not a confusing mouthful, unlike some of the more forgettable company names that some choose.
