Russian ccTLD Breaks 3 Million Mark

The Russian ccTLD, .ru, has broken the 3 million mark in terms of domains registered.

At time of writing there are over 3 million active domain registrations.

While any milestone is impressive the fact that this comes after the Russian registry tightened controls on domain registrations renders this news particularly noteworthy.
