It looks like around 100 .paris domain names will be going live tomorrow as part of the .paris “pioneer” program. Here are some of the well known names that will be first to get their .paris domain name:
- RATP – the Parisian transport authority has managed to get metro.paris (no that link won’t work just yet)
- Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy have managed to get bercyarena.paris
- Aéroports de Paris, the airport authority for Paris’ airports will get airports.paris
- The Eiffel Tower, which needs no introduction, will be reachable via toureiffel.paris
- La géode, which is a cinema in Paris, will get lageode.paris
- Delsey, the French luggage company, will be getting delsey.paris
- Fauchon, who are a gourmet food company, will get their matching .paris – fauchon.paris
- dsworld.paris is being assigned to Citroën
