WHD Global and WHD USA Dates & Venues Announced

December 17, 2015 by Michele Neylon

logo-whd-global2016World Hosting Days, or as it’s better known, WHD, will be held again next year. In 2016 the “global” event will return to Rust, Germany, as it has done for the last few years, with the event taking place between March 15 – 17. Due to the events location most people tend to arrive on the Monday and leave on the Friday, so it’s essentially a full week event. The event venue is, as usual, Europa-Park, which the event organisers are able to take over entirely.

Earlier this year the organisers held their first US event and they’ll be continuing in 2016 in May with WHD USA. This time round the venue is the Sheraton Wild Horse Pass in Phoenix, Arizona. The hotel is about 25 minutes from Phoenix Sky Harbor International airport. Locating the event close to a major airport should help with attendance with both US based and European companies.

The WHD Global event is probably the biggest event in the hosting industry these days, so it’ll be interesting to see how their US one develops. Whether it will grow to be bigger than HostingCon or not remains to be seen.
