DotCat Registry Operator Hiring General Manager

April 13, 2019 by Michele Neylon

Fundació puntCAT, which runs the .cat domain registry, has announced (Catalan) that they’re seeking to hire a general manager.

The role, which will be based at the registry’s HQ in Barcelona , is open for applications until the end of April.

They’re using a recruitment agency that specialises in IT to help fill the role.

Obviously you’d need to speak Catalan if you want the job, but you’d also need to have a good level of business English. The ideal candidate will have a 3rd level degree, a background in IT and Internet related businesses. And of course the usual mix of leadership skills and business acumen. You can read the full job spec here (in Catalan).

The .cat registry currently has around 109 thousand domains under management at present.
