2021 Events Being Postponed to 2022

2020 has seen many events being cancelled or switching to online only. Many people hoped that there would be some level of normality in 2021 but it’s looking increasingly likely that many events in 2021 won’t be “in person” either.

So far CES 2021 has moved online and other events are sure to follow.

Domain Pulse, which was meant to be held in Bonn is being pushed back to February 2022.

And it sounds like ICANN will be continuing to run their meetings online only into 2021.

So when do people think that “in person” events will make a return?

2021?

2022?

I’d love to know via the comments!

  1. Alho I expect we’ll be traveling for small meetings/events sometime in Spring, my earliest expectation for a big conference like ICANN is late summer or fall 2021.

Maybe “in country”, but are employers going to authorise their staff to travel internationally?
I’m not sure I’d be comfortable signing off on any of my staff travelling for now.
