EURid has announced who the new General Manager will be.
Peter Janssen will be taking over as General Manager, replacing Marc Van Wesemael who is retiring later this year.
Janssen is currently EURid’s CTO and has been with the company since its formation to run the .eu ccTLD.
Sandra Hoferichter, Chair of the Board says:
“We are convinced that Peter’s long-standing commitment to EURid and his vast technical background makes him the ideal successor for Marc Van Wesemael. We believe Peter will continue to write the success story of EURid, motivate and lead the entire team. We would also like to thank Marc Van Wesemael for his endless efforts in building EURid and making it what it is today.“
Prior to EURid Janssen was CTO for the .be ccTLD.
