ICANN’s upcoming public meeting, which is also the AGM, is being held in Dublin, Ireland. It was originally scheduled to be held in Oman, but was relocated. This isn’t the first time that ICANN has had to move a meeting and probably won’t be the last.
It’s been 10 years since ICANN last held a meeting in Ireland and they’re going to be using the same venue as last time – the Convention Centre Dublin.
As it’s a European meeting, the second one of 2025, it will probably be fairly well attended.
As they’ve been doing for the last few years, the “in person” registration is closing a couple of days before the meeting. So if you want to attend you’ll need to get registered before the 23rd of October.
The full schedule for the meeting is now available here. They’re using Sched, so you can manage your own schedule either via their mobile app or you can export it as a .ics file and import it into your calendar of choice.
The host for ICANN 84 is INEX, the Irish neutral Internet exchange. We (Blacknight) will be sponsoring the entertainment for the Monday evening event. You can read more about that here.
