ICANN Announce Multiple Meeting Locations

October 31, 2025 by Michele Neylon Leave a Comment

ICANN has announced the location cities for 3 of their future meetings.

In an announcement yesterday evening they announced the locations for ICANN 86, ICANN 87 and ICANN 89.

ICANN 86 will be held in Seville, Spain from 8 June to 11 June 2026. It’s a great city to spend time in and I look forward to enjoying tapas.

ICANN 87 will be held in Muscat, Oman from 17th to 22nd October 2026. The Dublin meeting which finished yesterday was originally scheduled for Oman, but was switched to Dublin.

ICANN 89 will be held in Vancouver, Canada from 14th to 17th June 2027.

They had previously announced that ICANN 88 would be Lisbon, Portugal. The last time ICANN was there was in 2007 and it was also my first ICANN meeting!

ICANN holds three public meetings per year and tries to rotate them between the various geographic areas of the world.

Meetings are free to attend.
