EUrid have officially been awarded the contract to run the .eu domain registry for another 5 years. The contract, which is awarded by the European Commission, was open for tender last year and the official announcement was only made today. EU Registry Reports Strong Growth And High Renewal Rates

Eurid, the registry for the .eu domain name, has released their quarterly results today. The registry's performance over the last quarter has been strong with registration rates up 7.6% compared to the same period last year. Renewal rates are also doing very well, with a rate of 85% being reported. Eurid Rolling Out IPv6 On Production Services

Eurid, the registry operator for .eu, has announced that it will be rolling out IPv6 across its remaining websites, including the registrar extranet. EU Registry Giving Away Ipads To Registrants
