RIPE 69 Registration Now Available

RIPE 69 is being held in November from 3 - 7 in London. Registration for the meeting was opened a couple of days ago. Tickets for the event cost €350, with day passes costing €150. New Zealand To Get Shorter Domains In September

The New Zealand domain name registry will be launching domain registrations directly under .nz at the end of September. From 1pm on 30 September 2014 it will be possible to register .nz domains. ICANN has suspended Domain Registry of America aka Brandon Gray Internet Services aka NameJuice. The registrar is forbidden from registering any new domain names or accepting any inbound transfers until 17 October 2014. IEDR Announce Longer Opening Hours

IEDR, who run the .ie ccTLD's operations, have announced longer opening hours. In an email to registrars this morning the company announced that they would be extending their opening hours during weekdays, as well as introducing half days on Saturdays. Dreamhost Hit With ICANN Breach Notice

Dreamhost is one of the larger webhosting providers out there. The Los Angeles based company was founded back in 1996 and offers Linux hosting exclusively ie. no Microsoft software.
