ICANN 41 To Go To Singapore?

ICANN’s meeting in June 2011 was scheduled to be held in Jordan. They have since cancelled it due to concerns about the region’s stability and a new location has not been formally announced.

One of the locations rumoured to be playing host is Singapore, so this tweet from the ccTLD operator of Jordan this evening may be based on more than rumour:

An official announcement of the new location has been expected for the last few days.
