The Chilean domain name registry (.cl), which is celebrating its 25 years in existence has launched one year .cl domain name registrations.
As of September 1st 2012 it is possible to register .cl domain names for either 2 years or 1 year.
It’s not clear if the registry has any plans to extend registration periods to the more “standard” 10 year period.
