DotCEO Announce Sunrise and Release New Video

February 13, 2014 by Michele Neylon

PeopleBrowsr (sic) have announced the .ceo sunrise as well as releasing yet another video. And yet again they’ve disable embedding, which for a company that’s supposedly “social” is an odd choice .. Anyway .. here’s the release:

dotCEO – the only TLD to convey both authority and power – will be marketed to brand leaders, 20 million business leaders globally and companies that service the CEO community in a partnership with dotCEO parent company PeopleBrowsr Inc.

Jodee Rich, CEO of dotCEO TLD said: “The Internet is evolving from the days of dotCom to the many colors and flavors of new Top Level Domains. Instead of viewing domains as “addresses”, people will embrace domains as online “Identities”.

The industry is about to undergo enormous growth. 270 million domains will increase to over one billion in the next few years. dotCEO will popularize professional identities.” Trademark holders can register dotCEO domains via recommended Sunrise partners Mark Monitor, Gandi.net, IP Mirror, 101 Domain, Minds + Machines, Safenames, BB Online UK, Lexsynergy, DomainInfo, Name.com, Mailclub, Momentous, CSC Global, Directi, GMO Internet and COREhub.

The dotCEO Landrush Period will be open to the public and commence March 17. Contested applications submitted during this period will be subject to auction.

The General Availability phase will commence March 28, 2014.

    Hey Michele,

Great to see the dotCEO mention on your website.

I just wanted to say thanks and see if I can help you embed the video. The youtube embed link is below. Give it a go, and if you are still encountering issues let us know and we’ll troubleshoot further.

    Thanks again,

    Christian
