ICANN Unveils New Meeting Schedule Tool

Over the past year or so ICANN’s meeting team and IT team have been working on a number of things to help make the overall meeting experience better. They introduced a mobile app (search for “ICANN56” on the app store to download it) and now they’ve rolled out a new look and feel for the actual meeting schedule itself.

For those of you who attend events around the globe the UX will look very familiar. They’ve chosen to use Sched.org. Here’s how it looks:

You’ll be able to create a custom schedule and a lot of other things quite easily using the new interface. Personally I’ve used sched.org for past events and loved it. It’s a very powerful suite of services for event organisers, so it’ll be interesting to see which options ICANN enables and how.
