Centralnic Win BRS Media Contract

June 10, 2016 by Michele Neylon

BRS Media announced to registrars earlier this week that they had chosen Centralnic to run registry backend services for their extensions. BRS Media run the .fm domain name registry, as well as offering a form of proxy registrar for .am. They had also originally applied for the .radio new TLD.

Here’s the announcement:

CentralNic has been selected as the new Back-end Registry Service Provider for BRS Media’s .FM and .AM, as well as .RADIO.am & .RADIO.fm.

For over 18 years, dotAM & dotFM have provided the Media Industry with professional, reliable, secure and stable ‘Industry Specific’ domains and we look forward to this new chapter

The .FM & .AM TLDs feature some of the most recognizable and innovative brands in Streaming, Podcasting & Social Media! Including: Coca-Cola.fm, NPR’s Earbud.fm, CBS’ Last.fm, Country Superstar CarrieUnderwood.fm, Facebook’s Instagr.am, China’s Largest Audio/Radio Platform App Qingting.fm, Black Eyed Peas’ Singer-Songwriter Will.i.am and so many more!

In the coming weeks, expect announcements from CentralNic with dates, schedules and migration time-frames. Once migrated, registrars will be able to manage .FM and .AM, as well as .RADIO.am & .RADIO.fm domains, via existing accounts at CentralNic.
