TLDCON 2016 Registration Open

July 3, 2016 by Michele Neylon

tldcon-2016

This year’s TLDCON will be held in Tbilisi, Georgia on September 7th and 8th.

As with previous editions, the agenda will feature a mix of both technical, legal and marketing sessions. The current agenda lists the following sessions:

  • IDN updates
  • Legislative aspects of domain name registration
  • Special ICANN section
  • Marketing of IDN e-mail and new challenges
  • Information Security
  • Secondary domain market

Registration for the event is free, but obligatory and closes on September 1st 2016.

If you’re interested in the domain name industry in central and eastern Europe, then it’s probably a good event to put in your calendar. Previous years have attracted around 100 attendees drawn from a mixture of both registries and registrars.
