ICANN CEO Göran Marby spoke at WHD.Global last week. Traditionally ICANN has not had a strong presence at WHD, so having the CEO and some of his senior staff in attendance last week was a positive move.
The challenge for Marby, who also had a fairly early morning slot for his talk, was making ICANN relevant to an audience made up of hosting companies.
His keynote runs for about 20 minutes and is embedded below:
The US has stepped aside to let ICANN lead in managing the Internet’s global Domain Name System. ICANN’s new CEO Göran Marby is leading this effort to build consensus on how the internet should run, and he wants your input and your help to shape what happens next.
