ICANN Chooses Puerto Rico for 2022 Meeting

November 9, 2019 by Michele Neylon

The ICANN AGM wrapped up in Montréal earlier this week. As usual the Board held several meetings over the course of the week and during one of them they signed off on the organisation returning to San Juan, Puerto Rico in 2022.

ICANN 73 San Juan Puerto Rico will be March 2022, which is the “forum” meeting, which is usually smaller in terms of attendance numbers.

Over the past couple of years ICANN has got a bit better at selecting and announcing the meeting venues in advance. The upcoming meetings’ roster currently looks like this:

March 2020Cancún
June 2020Kuala Lumpar
October 2020Hamburg
March 2021Cancún
June 2021The Hague
October 2021Seattle
March 2022San Juan, Puerto Rico
