IE ccTLD Publishes 2019 Digital Health Index

IEDR, which is the company that runs the .ie ccTLD for Ireland, has published the 2019 version of their “Digital Health Index”.

The report, in simple terms, looks at how Irish small businesses view and use “digital”. That covers things like whether they have a website, if they sell online or if they have active social media accounts.

The full report (PDF), which runs to about 36 pages, goes into quite a bit of detail.

The report is based on fairly extensive research involving 1 thousand Irish SMEs.

Here are a couple of the highlights (in graphical form!):

In light of the announcements from the Irish government this week this is rather topical.

IEDR’s David Curtin spoke about the report on Irish radio last week.

Conn goes into it in more depth over here.
