ICANN Seeking Applicants for Multiple Roles via NomCom

ICANN Logo

Every year a number of positions with ICANN’s various committees, councils and boards become available, as people’s terms end.

This year is no different with the following posts being up for grabs:

  • Three members of the ICANN Board of Directors.
  • Three regional representatives to the At-Large Advisory Committee (ALAC) – one each representing the Africa region, Asia, Australia, and Pacific Islands region, and Latin America and Caribbean region.
  • Two members of the Generic Names Supporting Organization (GNSO) Council – one representing the Contracted Parties House and one representing the Non-Contracted Parties House.
  • One member of the Country Code Names Supporting Organization (ccNSO) Council.

In some instances the current holder of a seat can apply for another term, but there’s no guarantee that they’ll be selected.

The selection criteria will vary by positions but all positions require fluency in the English language, as it is the working language of ICANN.

Applications close 18 March 2021, 23:59 UTC
