Spanish ccTLD on Track to hit 2 Million Registrations

The .es domain registry for Spain is on track to hit the two million domains registered mark. They’ll probably break the two million mark this side of Christmas if my calculations are correct.

In common with many other country code domain name operators, the .es registry offers multiple extensions though the data clearly shows that most people and businesses opt for .es, though com.es, org.es and others are also available.

The growth in registrations appears to have been consistent, while other domain extensions have noted some retraction in the last couple of months.
