UK Domain Names Now Available For 1 to 10 Year Registration and Renewal

Nominet turned on multi-year registrations and renewals today, so now UK domain names can be registered or renewed for periods from 1 to 10 years. With this move Nominet brings itself into line with gTLDs and a lot of other ccTLDs, where the 1 to 10 year registration period has been available for some time. UK Registry Launch Prize Draw To Celebrate 10 Million Registrations

The UK registry, Nominet, recently hit the 10 million domain mark and to mark the event they're running a prize draw. Nominet Breaks 10 Million Domains

Nominet, the .uk registry, announced yesterday that they'd broken the 10 million domains mark. The .uk registry is currently the 2nd largest country code extension in the world. Interestingly there were over 2 million domain names registered in each of the last two years and the renewal rate stands at around 70%. Nominet Publish Draft Member Code

Nominet, the domain registry for the .uk ccTLD, has published a draft "member code". Co.uk Registry To Offer Multi-Year Registrations

Nominet, the registry operator for .uk, has announced that multi-year domain registration will be made available from 1 May 2012. The new registration periods will fall inline with other ccTLDs and gTLDs that offer the more flexible 1 - 10 year registration periods.
