The Director, gTLD Registry Services will direct all activities of the function that performs contract management and policy implementation duties and carries out responsibilities in the following areas (including, but not limited to): development of operational strategies to support the expanding registry community in their efforts to be successful while complying with contract agreements and ICANN policy. Develop and execute a department budget annually through one-year operating and three-year strategic plans.
Understanding of legal, contractual, and policy documents required

Proven ability to communicate complex and often controversial information, concepts, policies and positions, both verbally and in writing, to internal and external audiences
Ability to solve complex issues in an ambiguous environment

Excellent organization-wide management skills for a large, highly diverse workforce across multiple languages and cultures
Ability to travel up to 25% of time

Minimum 7 years related contract management and negotiation experience
Candidates with gTLD registry, ICANN-accredited registrar or ccTLD registry experience in a leadership position are preferred
College degree required
Prior international experience strongly preferred.
