IEDR Announce Longer Opening Hours

July 10, 2014 by Michele Neylon

IEDR, who run the .ie ccTLD’s operations, have announced longer opening hours.

In an email to registrars this morning the company announced that they would be extending their opening hours during weekdays, as well as introducing half days on Saturdays.

Registration Services will operate from 8.00am to 6.30pm, Monday to Friday (please note that the Registry will also provide service during our normal lunch time period 1.00am to 2.00pm). In addition we will open half day Saturday from 9.00am to 1.00pm. (new business opening hours will come into force from Monday 14 July 2014) Accounts will operate from 8.00am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday. (please note that the accounts team will also provide service during our normal lunch time period 1.00am to 2.00pm). These new business opening hours will come into force from Tuesday 15 July 2014).

This news will be welcomed by registrars of .ie domains, as it should bring IEDR’s opening hours more into line with those of the registrar community.
