According to the .fr registry's latest report .fr domain names are popular with private individuals. One in two new .fr domain names is registered to a private individual. Currently over about 40% of .fr domains are registered to individuals, compared to approximately 20% 6 years ago. EU Registry Reports Strong Growth And High Renewal Rates

Eurid, the registry for the .eu domain name, has released their quarterly results today. The registry's performance over the last quarter has been strong with registration rates up 7.6% compared to the same period last year. Denic Breaks 15 Million Names

Denic, the registry operator for .de, the country code for Germany, has now got over 15 million domain names registered. The registry operator is currently showing 15,000,530 names in total, so the 15 million milestone was probably hit in the last couple of hours. IE Domains Break 175 Thousand Mark And Reports Growth

The latest press release from IEDR covering Q1 of 2012 announces a couple of things: Q1 2012 registration figures were 12.2% higher than Q4 2011.
