Hugo Boss Wins UDRP
Hugo Boss has won a WIPO UDRP for the domain hugoboss.tv. The only “interesting” part of the decision is that the domain had been held by the registrant since 2005. Facebook Wins WIPO Decision
Facebook, the social networking site that is “flavour de jour”, has won a WIPO UDRP case. The decision isn’t that exciting, as the registrant did not respond. The domain face-book.com is currently parked, but will probably move in the next few days/ weeks.
Trademark Police in Whois Scandal
Jay reports that WIPO’s whois records are not 100% accurate / compliant with ICANN rules. Seemingly they’ve been reported! It would be interesting to see how many high profile sites / organisations actually are publishing accurate WHOIS data.
