Chilean Country Code Domains Breaks 700k Mark

The .cl domain name registry for Chile recently hit a milestone. There are now over 700 thousand .cl domain names registered. (At time of writing 700338). Radix Reports Premium Sales Increase

Radix registry have reported close to $2 million in revenue from premium domain names in the first half of 2020. That's an increase of 19% on the second half of 2019. While renewals contribute to the overall revenue reported new registrations made up roughly 50% of the total revenue. CENTR Releases Global Domain Report

CENTR has published their report covering domain names globally for Q4 2019. The overall picture is positive, with a 3% growth year on year. Within Europe growth rates were also up compared to the previous year, though they're still lower than the global growth rate (1.6% vs 3%). Radix Did $3 Million in Premium Names in 2019
